Review: Robert Downey Junior (Sherlock Holmes) is really awesome! Those of you who have witnessed "Iron Man" can easily relate Robert with his charming mannerism. The movie opens with a small action sequence involving Sherlock Holmes, his companion Watson and the villain Lord Blackwood. That really sets the pace of the movie and gives a nice impression of things to come. Watson, on the other hand is totally unlike his character as portrayed in the novel. He is almost as cool as Holmes in this movie, which is kind of entertaining. The movie revolves around Holmes and his intellectual attempts in solving the mystery of Blackwood's return from the dead. As Blackwood gets closer to ripping apart the order in the city of London through his dark persuasive manners, Holmes and his team face the music in an attempt to solve the mystery. Music plays a vital role in bringing out the true characters of a movie, and Hans Florian Zimmer has done yet another splendid job at composing the original sound tracks. In short, the movie has a nice blend of slap/stick/smart humor, sarcasm, intelligence, action-packed drama complemented with an amazing background score and is a definite watch!
